From Education to Wellness- Tyreek Hill’s Hand in Budding ‘Mini Cheetahs’

7x Pro Bowler and possibly the fastest football player, Tyreek Hill well deserves the title of “Cheetah”. The Miami Dolphins WR is on a mission to ensure that no child is left behind. Through his family foundation, Tyreek is transforming the lives of children across America and is doing his part in giving back to society in a big way.

Established in 2018, the Cheetah Scholarship Fund has enabled underprivileged, talented students to get access to higher education. Hill has vowed to donate $5,000 towards the Cheetah Scholars program every time he scores a touchdown in the NFL season. Every year, 10 students win the scholarship in honor of the Wide Receiver’s jersey number.

Tyreek Hill is continuing to give back to his former Alma Mater and hometown athletic departments.

Hill presented a $40,000 check through the Tyreek Hill Family Foundation to Coffee High School and Atkinson County High School for their athletic departments.

Every team needs a “Cheetah” and now, Miami Dolphins wide receiver Tyreek Hill is teaching kids all over South Florida how to play like one.

On Saturday, the Pro Bowl receiver Hill hosted his annual football camp at Tropical Park Stadium in Miami.

Hill hosts several camps around the country but wanted to bring one home to South Florida as kids were seen going through drills and many were able to take pictures with the all-pro wideout.

“I always used to say as a kid, ‘I’m gonna be that player that changes the dynamic of what camps look like,’” Hill said. “It’s an honor to do this and I just want to come out and have a good time with these kids.”

During a chaotic offseason, Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Tyreek Hill started a second occupation. It wasn’t just to stay busy — and he certainly wasn’t hurting for a paycheck. Instead, he wanted to fulfill a life-long passion.

Hill became a wide receivers coach for Lee’s Summit North High School, attending coaches meetings during the summer and working with the team during their initial preseason conditioning. During the season, he’s been making it to Monday and Tuesday practices — and has been on the sideline for their Friday night games (via The Examiner).
